The Monaco Yacht Show — held each September across Port Hercule — is the most exclusive superyacht exhibition on earth. For four days, the Principality hosts the world's most significant superyacht brokers, shipyards, and UHNWI buyers. FFGR Monaco operates dedicated ground logistics during MYS with the port access credentials and operational expertise the event demands.
Port Hercule During MYS — The Ground Reality
During the Monaco Yacht Show, Port Hercule becomes one of the most restricted vehicle zones in Europe. Standard access is closed to non-credentialled vehicles from the Wednesday before opening. The Quai Louis II, Quai Antoine I, and the Fontvieille approach roads are all subject to Principality police checkpoints from 07:00 to 22:00 daily. FFGR Monaco holds operational authorisations that allow us to position vehicles at all three principal port access points throughout the show.
For principals arriving by helicopter at the Monaco Heliport — the fastest approach during MYS — we provide ground coordination from the helipad door. The Héliport de Monaco to Port Hercule transfer takes seven minutes by vehicle through the Fontvieille tunnel. This sequence — helicopter from Nice, coordinated ground positioning, direct to yacht — is the definitive MYS arrival for time-sensitive clients.
Fleet for the Monaco Yacht Show
MYS principals do not arrive in standard vehicles. Our Yacht Show fleet comprises the Rolls-Royce Phantom VIII for shipyard CEOs and superyacht owners making a statement, the Mercedes-Maybach S680 in dark configuration for buyers who prefer not to be identified until they reach the gangway, and the Range Rover SV for brokers and advisors who require both presence and practicality. All vehicles are pre-positioned from 08:30 each show day.
For group movements — a charter client whose guests arrive variously at Nice Airport, the heliport, and by private road — we operate coordinated multi-vehicle logistics. Our show operations team maintains a real-time schedule board and WhatsApp coordination group with all drivers, updated every 15 minutes throughout show hours.
Dinner, After-Show and Late-Night Logistics
The evenings at MYS are as choreographed as the show itself. Principals move from boat to boat for cocktails, then to dinner reservations at Hôtel de Paris, Joël Robuchon Monte-Carlo, or private villa dinners in Cap-Ferrat. The post-show movement between 19:00 and 21:00 is the highest-demand period for ground transport, and we allocate standby vehicles specifically for this window.
Late-night transfers — from Jimmyz, from private yachts, from villa events — are covered through 03:00 during the show. Our drivers maintain contact on WhatsApp and respond in under 60 seconds to collection requests. Nothing about MYS logistics is improvised; everything is planned 48 hours in advance, with a real-time contingency layer.
