The Monaco Yacht Show takes place each September in Port Hercule, transforming Monaco's working harbour into the world's largest display of superyachts, tenders, and marine equipment. For five days, 600 exhibiting companies and thousands of UHNW visitors converge on a Principality that has no additional road capacity to absorb them. The transport challenge is not simply getting to Monaco — it is moving within it, between show venues, yacht berths, and surrounding hotels and residences with the precision the event demands.
Port Hercule Access During the Show
Port Hercule is divided into yacht show zones during the September event. General vehicle access is restricted; VIP credential holders can access designated drop-off zones only. Without advance registration as a Principality-approved operator, vehicles are diverted to the Fontvieille car park — a 12-minute walk from the main show entrance.
FFGR Monaco holds annual show operator accreditation, which includes quayside drop-off access for credentialled principals. If your arrival at Port Hercule requires direct vehicle access to a specific berth or the show's VIP entrance on the Quai Louis II, we manage this as part of your transfer.
Yacht-to-Shore Transport Coordination
Many Yacht Show principals arrive aboard their own vessels or live aboard superyachts berthed in Port Hercule for the duration of the show. The transition from yacht to shoreside transport requires precise tender timing and a vehicle positioned at the correct quayside exit.
We work directly with yacht captains and their shore-side coordinators to establish the boarding and disembarkation schedule. Our drivers receive the vessel's berth number and the client's expected schedule 24 hours before each day's movements. Nothing is left to the morning of.
Airport Transfers During Yacht Show Week
Nice Airport volume increases significantly during Yacht Show week. The combination of elevated arrivals and Monaco's compressed road network makes these transfers among the most logistically demanding of the year. Our Nice–Monaco transfer during show week is a dedicated service with dedicated drivers.
For principals arriving by private jet at Nice or Cannes Mandelieu, we coordinate FBO handoffs and manage the ground-to-vessel leg. If the vessel is not yet in port, we hold the client at the Hôtel de Paris and re-engage when the marina confirms berth assignment.
