Film and television productions on the Côte d’Azur operate under intense time pressure and logistical complexity. A delayed crew van or a missing equipment transfer can push a shoot day into overtime at significant cost. The Riviera’s appeal as a filming location — its light, its architecture, its estates — is matched by its logistical challenges: narrow access roads, seasonal traffic, permit zones, and the need to move camera packages, grip equipment, and talent simultaneously across multiple locations.
Talent & Director Transport
Our primary service for film productions is talent and director transport: hotel to set, set to catering, set to evening location. We provide Mercedes V-Class and Sprinter vehicles for group moves of up to eight passengers, and S-Class or Maybach for individual talent requiring a premium cabin.
We work directly with the production’s AD (Assistant Director) or transport coordinator. All vehicle movements are integrated into the daily call sheet — our drivers receive the morning’s movements by 21:00 the previous evening and confirm availability immediately.
Equipment & Camera Package Logistics
Camera packages, lighting rigs, and sound equipment require clean, climate-controlled transport. Our Sprinter vehicles are configured with non-slip flooring and load securing for sensitive equipment. We do not mix passenger and equipment loads on productions where contamination of either would be a problem.
For productions shooting in multiple locations across the Riviera — Cap d’Antibes, Villefranche, Menton, Monaco itself — we provide dedicated equipment shuttles running in parallel with talent transport, ensuring the set is prepared before the talent arrives.
Cannes Film Festival — Production Weeks
The Cannes Film Festival generates a concentration of production activity in May that rivals any other period on the Riviera. Beyond the Festival itself, the surrounding weeks see numerous brand shoots, editorial productions, and streaming platform content productions based in Cannes and extending across the region.
During Festival weeks, our Cannes operation adds vehicles and drivers to handle the increased demand. Hotel-to-Palais runs, villa location transfers, yacht-to-set movements — we have operated every type of Festival production logistics.
Location Scouting Transport
Pre-production location scouts require flexible transport: stopping and starting at irregular intervals, waiting at locations for 20-minute photography sessions, covering ground from Menton to Saint-Tropez in a single day. Our scouts transport service uses large estate vehicles driven by drivers familiar with every accessible road on the Riviera.
When the production’s location manager identifies a shortlist of sites, we operate the director’s recce in a dedicated vehicle — typically the Cullinan or a large Range Rover — that can reach unpaved estate roads while providing comfort for an extended working day.
Night Shoots & Flexible Hours
Film productions shoot at night. Our drivers operate on production schedules, not business hours. Night shoot wrap time is typically between 02:00 and 05:00; we have vehicles available for crew transport at any hour and can stage multiple pickups across a location within a 15-minute window.
Overtime availability is contracted in advance for productions, not requested ad hoc. When the call sheet says 05:00 wrap, we confirm vehicle positions for that time at the point of booking — not the night before.
