Monaco Residential Chauffeur Programme — Daily Driver Service for Residents

May 2026 · 6 min read · FFGR Monaco Residential Team

Monaco's permanent and semi-permanent resident population includes the wealthiest concentration of individuals per capita in the world. For families and individuals who have made the Principality their primary or secondary address, ground transport is not a travel service — it is a residential utility, as essential and reliable as any other household function. FFGR Monaco's residential chauffeur programme provides a dedicated vehicle and driver on a monthly or annual basis, with the operational consistency that ad-hoc booking cannot deliver.

What a Residential Programme Includes

A standard FFGR Monaco residential programme assigns one dedicated driver to the client for a defined daily availability window — typically 07h00 to 22h00, six or seven days per week. The same driver, the same vehicle, briefed on the client's preferences, contacts, medical requirements if relevant, and regular destinations. This continuity is not a convenience feature; it is an operational requirement for clients whose security profile demands a known, vetted driver in a known vehicle at all times.

The programme vehicle is maintained exclusively for the client during the agreement period — not shared with other clients between engagements, not available for dispatch to other assignments. The vehicle is presented at the client's Monaco address at the agreed start time, washed and fuelled, with no dispatch latency. If the designated driver is ill or on leave, a pre-briefed replacement driver is available with the same vehicle within 30 minutes.

Extended Coverage: Riviera and International

A Monaco-based residential programme can extend seamlessly to regional Riviera coverage — Cannes, Nice, Saint-Tropez, the ski resorts in winter — without the need for the resident to arrange separate transport at each destination. The residential vehicle and driver travel with the client. For international journeys beyond the Riviera corridor (Milan, Geneva, Paris, Barcelona), the residential driver operates the departure and arrival segments while FFGR coordinates local partner vehicles at each destination.

For residents with a yacht in Port Hercule, the residential programme can be configured to include morning shore coordination — driver at the tender pontoon for the principal's daily shore arrival, evening collection for the return tender. This is a level of operational continuity that requires a dedicated residential arrangement; it cannot be delivered from a pool-dispatch model.

Programme Structures and Flexibility

FFGR Monaco offers residential programmes on a monthly, seasonal, or annual basis. The seasonal format — June through September — serves clients who maintain a Monaco address for the Riviera summer and winter ski season, but spend the shoulder months elsewhere. The annual programme is designed for full-time residents who treat FFGR Monaco as their household ground transport provider for the entire calendar year.

Pricing for residential programmes is structured on a flat monthly fee inclusive of all ordinary driving within the Monaco–Nice–Cannes corridor. Long-distance travel beyond the corridor is billed at a per-kilometre supplement. There are no hidden costs, no peak-hour surcharges, and no charges for scheduled wait time. One monthly invoice.
